Q & A ZWDS
Can Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS) predict marriage?
The common question here is whether ZWDS can predict marriage? The simple answer is ‘YES’.
Lets discuss this a little further. Marriage is a union of two people, for example. It does not entail any cultural or custom that defines marriage. From a Zi Wei Dou Shu perspective, it does not differentiate between a romance, a relationship, or a marriage. This is largely true since in the current era, many people live together, without a marriage ceremony or celebration, but are married (and not necessary in paper).
Therefore, from a ZWDS perspective, we can identify if romance or relationship is coming to in an individual’s destiny chart. We do not, however, conclude that it is a legal marriage, or a marriage with ceremony. Most people would think that a marriage must be legalized (as in the Legal Registry of their home country- for legal purposes), or that a marriage ceremony or celebration was carried out with family or friends. Not so in ZWDS. In ZWDS, when two people are together for a specific amount of time, it is considered a marriage. Therefore, marriage, romance, and relationship are viewed as one word – union (- the union of two souls). The Universe brings two souls in similar vibration frequency to consummate an union. The Universe does not recognize a ‘man-made’ legal marriage or ceremonies.
In ZWDS, when a union (romance) is seen coming in specific years, it can be further analyzed if it is a good union or a problematic union. A good or a bad union (or if you wish to call it a marriage) can be analyzed in the ZWDS destiny chart. Good or bad, it is your destiny to experience.
To take it one step further, it depends if it is the Hua Lu Catalyst or the Hua Ji Catalyst that is revealed in a person’s ZWDS destiny chart. That is why it is a smart move to review your ZWDS chart before marriage. However, most people don’t since during the infatuation stage, love is blind. If it ended in a separation or a divorce after, it is a likelihood that the Universe has made the two souls to experience it in this life time. Others may call it a karmic influence, but your ZWDS chart does reveal this if you know.
Romance can be analyzed with the Spouse Palace, Health Palace, and Friends Palace. Do check out the other posts here about the Spouse Palace, and the Problematic Spouse Palace.
Finally, in layman’s term, Yes, ZWDS can predict marriage, or should I say, an Union.
Where is the ‘Money’ in Zi Wei Dou Shu?
In Si Hua Flying Star Zi Wei Dou Shu (四化飛星紫微斗數), your potential to Wealth/Money is decoded using the Wealth Palace, the Career Palace, the Property Palace, and the Siblings Palace. In the next post, the differences and meaning to wealth/money to its respective palaces would be discussed.
Wealth, by definition, is not only about money. It includes all the abundance, possessions, and resources available to you. Similarly, we can say that “this person has a wealth of knowledge”, or “this person saves by the penny, and has accumulate a large amount of wealth”.
However, lets focus on wealth as a form of abundance in money possessions in a ZWDS life destiny chart. Do you have the wealth formation in your ZWDS chart where money is concern?
First, from the Natal (Birth), if the Wealth Palace has a Wealth Star (Wu Qu, Tai Yin, and Tian Fu), and Hua Lu, it can be quickly analyze that this person will be wealthy with such ‘Pre-Born’ characteristics in his/her lifetime. This is ‘Pre-Born’ heavenly bestowed prosperity. The question is when? This will be analyzed by decoding the Ten-Years (Decade) charts.
However, if you do not have such a positive ‘Pre-Born’ wealth configuration in your Natal/Birth Chart, then decode the Ten-Years (Decade) charts. There are many ways to decode wealth/money abundance in the Ten-Years charts. Usually, the Decade Life, Decade Wealth, and Decade Career must have a Wealth Star associated with it, and the internal palaces should be activated with the Si Hua.
Since the Ten-Years (Decade) are dynamic charts, it is a ‘Post-Born’ chart. This is when events happen (good or bad), and when and how to alter such events to your benefit (either to avoid, or to boost the event further).
The above ZWDS chart is a Sha Po Lang formation. Natal/Birth Wealth Palace has Wu Qu (finance star), and Self Hua Lu (this ‘Pre-Born’ formation has all three criteria met: Palace, Star, and Si Hua). Therefore, this person will be wealthy (but, we cannot measure the amount of wealth). Similarly, if this person was born in primitive times, he/she will have leadership, abundance, and prosperity (and not necessary in monetary terms). Anyhow, this is a positive ZWDS life destiny chart where wealth and money is concerned.
In the Ten-Years dynamic chart (42-51), Decade Wealth send Hua Lu to Natal/Birth Career, and send Hua Ji to Natal/Birth Wealth. This Lu–Ji formation indicates a change in the Career in 2011 (truly, this person added a new line of business in 2011), and is highly auspicious. Internal palace sends Lu-Ji to internal palaces is positive, and since we are decoding wealth, this is a positive wealth accumulation period.
Furthermore, the accumulation of wealth in this case is by engaging the owner of this chart- meaning he/she has to work hard for the money (it is not windfall, or free money without hard work). Some charts do indicate windfall, free money, or speculative investments, but not in this case. Similarly, a ZWDS life destiny chart will indicate if a person is suitable to be a business person, or if the person is suitable to work for others to accumulate wealth.
The above ZWDS chart is suitable as a business person’s chart, and not a person that works for others. If he/she works for others, it will benefit the employer more than him/herself unless he/she is highly compensated in the CEO, or highly ranked positions (since Zi Wei resides in the Natal/Birth Self Palace). If you are an employer, you could hire a person with such chart formation into a high executive position, compensate him/her well, and in return, make money for your organization. This is true that most CEO in MNC’s are able to make millions of dollars in compensation, thereby fulfilling the need for such a person’s wealth capacity to work for the organization.
Therefore, in essence, fate and destiny cannot be changed, but can be altered (such as with your own freewill) to either grasp good positive opportunity, or to avoid it totally if negative. Such freewill includes moving to a new residence with positive Feng Shui, changing career/job, engaging in the type of trade/business, or timing to invest into a business and type of investments as shown in your ZWDS life destiny chart.
From your Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS) chart, check which Ten-Years, when, and where is your money? You would be amazed that your ZWDS life destiny chart reveals the period for wealth given to you if you know when to grasp the positive opportunity, or to let it go unknowingly.

Boost Your Luck with Feng Shui
Feng Shui (风水) is the study, and the manipulation of the environmental science to power boost good positive energy to alleviate the luck of a person. Feng Shui has been practiced for thousands of years, but there are plenty of variations in the practiced based on the lineage, and Schools of Chinese Metaphysics.
As a layman, you must be careful in choosing a practitioner that is capable in delivering effective Feng Shui remedies. Yes, Feng Shui can be done to gather good ‘qi’ energy (气) for boosting your earning capacity, boosting wealth, bringing good partners & romance, to minimize potential health issues, etc or whatever your situation could be in need for Feng Shui implementation. Others have stated that Feng Shui is utter rubbish. That statement is somewhat true, because many Feng Shui practitioners are ‘half-baked’, or uses a system or technique that is totally non-conforming to the theory of Feng Shui. Below are two common red-flags of a commercialized or fake Feng Shui practitioner’s practices (there are many more).
However if the practitioner you have chosen utilizes any of the ‘things’ listed below, ‘move-on’ to another Feng Shui Practitioner:
- telling you to buy figurines to be placed in a particular internal or external area:
- asking you to do certain ‘things’ that is not the norm, or not an acceptable behavior;
In 1. above, figurines or decorative items are nothing more than pleases the eye, and of a psychological perspective that temporary makes you feel better. Placing a beautiful toy ship filled with artificial golden nuggets does not mean good Feng Shui. Similarly, placing a decorative toad which has a golden coin on its mouth, or an artificial tortoise at the main entrance does not mean good Feng Shui. All of these items are, at best, decorative, a selling gimmick on commercialization of the practitioner. It benefits the practitioner’s income more than yours. However, if it makes you happy when you see a gold colored toad made of resin thinking it could boost your luck, then fine! It is a temporary, psychological mind conditioning, and adjustment rather than an art and a science of Feng Shui practice.
In 2. above, if a practitioner asked of you to conduct some form of rituals, that is not Feng Shui. It is a sect practicing its set of ideologies, or cult practices. Unless you are looking for a ritual, perhaps a quick temporary fix, that is your choice. But beware of repercussion, if any! but likely for certain since you need to repay it later.
Simply put, Feng Shui is to calculate, and to determine where in your location, and the how to gather positive ‘qi’ energy. This is done through an analysis of the person’s Zi Wei Dou Shu life destiny chart. The Feng Shui enhancement must complement your life destiny. In Si Hua Flying Star Zi Wei Dou Shu Feng Shui technique, figurines, religion, numbers, colors, etc is not a Feng Shui remedy. The clever you now realizes that Feng Shui is to gather, and to boost good ‘qi’ energy in your surroundings. So how would ‘qi’ energy see, or feel colors, numbers, figurines, etc?
One of the positive technique is the placement of water (aquarium, water fountain, man-made pond, etc). Water placement is highly effective, and care must be taken to where it is to be placed. Placing a water feature in a negative location of your home, or business can result in bad negative circumstances to everyone. Other items used could include live plants, lights, things of the five elemental composition, and energy producing items. Truly enough, a pet is a good source of ‘qi’, but a thorough analysis of a life destiny chart is required to justify the auspiciousness.

It is a promise that we will not sell you a one hundred dollar item made of resin such as a golden toad, a duck, a pagoda, or a tortoise, or ask you to purchase these items for good Feng Shui.
One more thing, Feng Shui is not for everyone. If through life destiny chart analysis, and if Zi Wei Feng Shui will not enhance your luck, it will not be done. Save your money, and time.

Who to hire? Using ZWDS as an additional decision tool.
Are you looking to hire a person for a specific job role? Or are you looking to hire someone that can perform in a job position?
Hiring a perfect candidate can be tough. Many businesses would hire an external screening agency to select the potential candidate, especially for senior executive positions. Whether for a senior position or not, the normal requirements include some sort of education, length of experiences, previous job performance, and skills. However, these are basic requirements, but are not totally conclusive of the perfect match. To extend on these requirements, why not use Zi Wei Dou Shu as an added requirement to select the ‘right’ perfect matched candidate. This allows you to know if the potential candidate’s is on a positive luck cycle to earn more money for the organization, the personality and character of the candidate (the ‘soft’ skills requirements), and if the candidate is satisfied as an employee in that job role. The ‘fit’ is essential for longer term compatibility.
In Si Hua Flying Star Zi Wei Dou Shu, it can be determined if the ‘fit’ for a position is rewarding in the longer term. In doing so, the date and time of birth of the individual are required to craft their life destiny chart. This will allow us to determine if the potential candidate is suitable to be an administrator, a CEO, a sales position, or the like. Gender is not a criteria, and gender should not be a requirement in fair hiring practices. It is also fair to suggest that the several potential candidates you have selected may be a perfect fit for other roles within your organization. Therefore, it is a ‘win-win’ analysis for both the employer and the prospective employee.
In Flying Star Zi Wei Dou Shu, analyzing the palaces and the stars residing in the Self/Life Palace, Career, Wealth, and Mental Palaces provide further clarification, and can offer indication of a person’s fit for a particular career that leads to success. Therefore, if the potential candidate is to achieve success, so would the employer. Selecting and employing the perfect candidate is not a secret, and should comply with fair hiring practices.

Job Hunting or Job Instability in ZiWeiDouShu?
Decoding Career/Job in Zi Wei Dou Shu
Are you not happy at your job? Are you looking for a new career?
Clients would ask questions if their job is stable, or if they can make more money in their daily job role. Some may ask if they are suitable to start a new business, or to invest in certain investments. All of these questions can be answered in their ZWDS destiny chart. To analyze these questions, we need to explore the Ten-Years Chart of the person in question. Luck, believe it or not, plays a role in a person’s destiny. However, many people do not know when luck is on their side (rising), or luck is going downhill at specific years of their life. It is best to grasp the opportunity when luck is on the rise, or to stay ‘under the radar’ when luck is low. Furthermore, if luck is not on your side, it is better to comply, stay focus, and be tactfully and happily content. Do not rock the ‘boat.’ Others may tell you to change your character, change your perception, or don’t complain about unfairness. The truth is, if an individual’s luck is low, there are some possible remedies to ‘fix’ the issue.
In Si-Hua Flying Star ZWDS, when the Ten-Years (Decade) Chart indicate an internal palace clashing into an internal palaces, then the ‘red-flag’ is almost certain. The instability of Career is highlighted. It does mean that in those Ten-Years, the Career of the individual is not smooth, and when we look closer (such as in the X-Ray), we can find the specific years, and the cause, that the affected palaces are most significant. Now that we are discussing on job and Career, lets look at when Decade Career clash Natal Career. When identical palaces clashing with each other, the signals are usually not positive. This includes career instability or a legal issue. However, to clash or not to clash defers from specific school’s of thought. These skills in deciphering the impact of signals are covered in the practitioner training program. There are several other ways to decode career instability as well.
The above example shows that the Ten-Years (33-42) Decade Career clash Natal Career. This is just one signal that the Career of this person is not stable, and furthermore, the Decade Wealth is not auspicious as well. There are several means of analysis as well in success or failure as revealed in your destiny chart.
How about you? Are you happy at your current role? Are you looking for a new job/career? Or which career path would lead you to happiness, be satisfied, and to create abundance in your life? You own it to yourself to create success and abundance for yourself. Knowing your personal life destiny now will equip you with winning in your life’s endeavors quicker and happier.
