Do you believe in Luck?

Luck in Zi Wei Dou Shu

Luck is something people commonly hope to be on their side for life endeavors. However, is luck really something that happens ‘out of the blue’ or is luck something you need to work for?

In the New Age genre, the “Law of Attraction” has been a big hit in suggesting luck creation through multiple means- such as listening or chanting a mantra, meditation, or focusing your mind into believing that you will win the lottery. However, do these practices really work? The answer is that I really don’t know because like I have mentioned in other posts, the Universe influences, and is much larger than the micro-living organism on earth.

Others have also suggested that luck do not exist, but by your own creation -similar to ‘walk the talk’. An example would be that if you are not persistent in looking for a job, the job will not just land on your lap suddenly. However, I beg to differ, but slightly.

From a Zi Wei Dou Shu standpoint, and in Chinese Meta-Physics, luck do play a role in our lives. It is highly regarded as the second dimension to life pursuits, and Feng Shui as the third dimensional support.

When luck is on the rise: If a person’s chart revealed as riding in a golden-luck period, he/she will do everything that is right that leads to a successful path, or he/she will land onto a role/job that is promising with or without any initial effort of their own. However, there is one pointer here. If you are lucky in regards to wealth generation, you need to lose something as well -such as your health, time with family, and so forth- “you cannot have the pie and eat it too”.

When luck is riding low: If you are still working, stay under the radar and be patient. If you are job hunting, you need to first have an action such as your own freewill in looking for a job, or wealth. It can be applying to various job openings, or simply talking to people. I am not suggesting that a person should do nothing when luck is bad. You should still seek and apply even if luck period is low. Worst yet, and if you can afford, take time off and renew your skills, or career line. Your Zi Wei Dou Shu chart does reveal a few career choices specifically for you, as deemed suitable, and stable in career progression. Do you know which career line is suitable to you?

From my years of consultation with clients, they were some that has been really lucky in landing a good career with very high earnings with no initial effort when luck is on the rise. They just have the upper-hand.

As an example, I have once analyzed a client’s chart where career and wealth luck is on the rise. Due to this reason, a Zi Wei Feng Shui was done to boost the event to happen quicker, and ensure that it will happen.

However, the client has no clue where to apply for a job or in which industry. I suggested that he will be working soon, and will generate good income from a specific year onward till the next five years. As the luck period begins in his Zi Wei Dou Shu chart, he suddenly received a call from his friend suggesting him to join a start-up company. The client just went with his friend and began work there. After a few years working there, the client made it big, and his achievements were enormous. Remember, he did not apply for any job position, nor made any inquiry. It was his friend, whom suddenly approached him of an offer. Yes, this is really luck in action from his chart analysis. As quoted, “if it is yours, it will be yours, and if it is not, it will never be”.

Therefore, in a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart, we can analyzed if a person is riding on good luck, or riding on a bad luck period. Luck (Yun) is shown in the post-born period of a life destiny chart. Whether the person created the luck, or if the luck just happens to fall on his lap can be revealed in the ZWDS chart.

As a result, I further believe that if good luck comes to you as revealed in your ZWDS chart, it comes as a storm. Are you ready to reap the rewards?

Are ZWDS Auspicious Elements in Your Destiny

Posted on Updated on

A rarely discuss, nor a hardly ever analyze topic of elements in Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS).
In a Flying Star ZWDS chart, there are twelve palaces, ten heavenly stems, plus 18 stars residing in a particular palace.

The auspiciousness of any palace with a similar element of Earthly Branch, Heavenly Stem, and a similar element of Star produce positive results to the palace. These trio-configuration suggest good relations of the palace to the individual.

For example, if the Wealth Palace is in the Earthly Branch of the Monkey, or Rooster, and the Heavenly Stem is Geng or Xin, and the Star is Wu Qu or Qi Sha, the combination of all these similar metal elements residing together is highly auspicious to the individual. If found in any of the six relationships palaces, the individual would have positive relationship to that palace.

Zi Wei Dou Shu Auspicious Elements

The configuration follows:

Jia / Yi Tiger / Rabbit Tian Ji, Tan Lang, Hua Ke
Bing / Ding Snake / Horse Tai Yang, Lian Zhen, Hua Quan
Wu / Ji Ox / Dragon / Ram / Dog Zi Wei, Tian Fu, Tian Liang
Geng / Xin Monkey / Rooster Wu Qu, Qi Sha, Wen Chang, Hua Lu
Ren / Gui Rat / Boar Tian Tong, Tai Yin, Tian Xiang, Ju Men, Po Jun, Wen Qu, Hua Ji

****** Similarly productive elements are beneficial as well.
Wood Element produces Fire
Fire Element produces Earth
Earth Element produces Metal
Metal Element produces Water
Water Element produces Wood
****** But, destructive cycle elements causes negative effect.

This is not necessary conclusive but given at ‘face-value’ of the positive results. The advance technique through analyzing the flying effects from the respective Heavenly Stem produces further clarification of the auspiciousness (such as how the Four Catalysts transformed). That is the awesomeness of the Flying Star Zi Wei Dou Shu (Flying Purple Star Astrology).

Cause and Effect

Cause and Effect is nothing new in Zi Wei Dou Shu. It is similar to the notion of “you reap what you sow”, but not exactly.
Cause and Effect in Zi Wei Dou Shu

However, in Zi Wei Dou Shu life destiny chart of an individual, the ’cause’ may not be planted by him or her, but the effect can take place according to destiny. Regardless of the situation of ‘effect’, planting good causes is always the best thing to do in life.

When decoding a destiny chart, When Hua Lu is shown, Hua Ji must be present as well. In Zi Wei Dou Shu, this is the ’cause and effect’ or the ‘start and end’ of that signal and event. Therefore, Hua Lu and Hua Ji is a combination, and both must be analyzed together. Positive or negative, the impact differs from what is being analyzed.

For example, if a destiny chart reveals that from Decade Wealth Hua Lu is flown into Tai Yang at the Wealth Palace, and Hua Ji is flown into Tian Tong in Friends clashing Siblings. This could be decoded as Decade Wealth is on the increase, good money flow, and abundance, but money is also lost due to entertainment, leisure activities, and enjoyment with perhaps, Friends, and therefore savings decreases. This combination of Hua Lu and Hua Ji is negative. Money comes, and money goes since the initiation of Hua Lu is positive to the palace, but Hua Ji to external palace, therefore, is a bad signal. It is recommended to not engage in business ventures whereby business will fail, or lost money due to Tian Tong. The quick analysis above is only one possible outcome. How about you? What seeds have you planted?

Certainties | Uncertainties

Posted on Updated on

Zi Wei Dou Shu is a powerful tool used to analyze life events, and life destiny. It is a profound destiny analysis tool, and has been practiced for thousands of years where it is shaped, reformed, and renewed.

However, there are some conceptual or underlying philosophical challenges that one needs to know when decoding a Zi Wei Dou Shu destiny chart.

First off, the destiny chart will indicate fated events, and/or signals to possible events. These events usually happens, and sometimes may happen but in a different circumstance. You may have encountered two person with the same destiny chart that results in two different outcomes but with close similarities. The positive or negative signal reveals will happen but the scope of impact could be different. It is circumstantial!

Relationship Analysis in Zi Wei Dou Shu

For example, if there is an indication of a divorce or a separation, native A could be separated with the partner due to constant work travel or work related project and needs to be physically away from home for months or years. When done, native A’s partner returned and the separation has been successfully concluded. No divorce but a separation for native A. However, even without a divorce, but a separation, the relationship could still be jeopardized until the timing has concluded.

On the other hand, native B stayed together with the partner and there were no plans of separation [ie. living separately]. When the separation/divorce signal reveals at a certain year, and nothing was done to avoid the separation, a divorce is highly likely, and the probability is almost certain. However, taking it one step further, the separation event for native B is either a divorce, or probably separated [in the affairs of the heart], but not physically or legally.

There are other factors to consider as well. These include external factors such as the environmental factors, societal norms, family/people influences, and the environmental science [Feng Shui]. In any case, if native B is not divorced at that time, native B’s would have lost the love and romance factor, but hanging on due to other pressures and influences mentioned above.

The Lesson here is that certainties and uncertainties could happen. Although events are classified as a ‘cast-in-stone’ that must happen, there is a window of freewill and external influences, that could alter the event, but slightly.

As a practitioner in Zi Wei Dou Shu, it is imperative to not conclude certainty of a signal or a revelation of the codes in the chart. The best practice is to suggest a possibility of occurrences, and not a definite conclusion, coupled with some guidance to minimize the negative events [if you are experienced in the skill of Zi Wei Dou Shu]. ‘Divorce’ is a taboo word that could result in anxiety, psychological imbalances, depression, etc. Care must be taken to suggest negative signals. Never be one hundred percent certain, and leave a window of uncertainties when deciphering the revelation of signals and codes.
